I have several short stories on topics related to philosophy of science, ethics, and artificial intelligence out for review. This section will be updated as I learn more. Works in progress can be seen at Critique Circle (for members) where I write under the username spaceape.
Prindle Institute for Ethics
Since 2022 I have worked as an author at Depauw University’s Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics, Prindle Post. This ethics newspaper provides approachable philosophical analyses of current events. As an ethicist and journalist, I prioritize questions of labor, artificial intelligence, and human agency.

Rigor: Experimental Control, Analysis, Synthesis
Led by Jutta Schickore and William Newman, the Mellon foundation supported rigor project assembled an international group of scholars to explore historical and philosophical dimensions of “rigor” in scientific inquiry. In addition to contributing as a research fellow, I designed and wrote the content for the website.
Hermann J. Muller: IU Nobelist
I authored and curated this digital exhibition on the life and work of the Nobel Prize winning geneticist and activist Hermann Muller. The exhibition was done in association with the Indiana University Library and supported by funding from the Indiana University Bicentennial Fund.
SCIU: Conversations in Science at Indiana University
From 2019 to 2021 I volunteered as a writer and editor for the Indiana University SCIU science blog. There I learned how to provide reliable scientific information to IU students, alumni, and the broader community, in an entertaining and accessible way.
